The degree program aims to train engineers for the automotive industry who can apply and introduce new materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering technologies in an environmentally conscious and energy-efficient manner. They will also be trained to handle leadership, control, and organizational responsibilities as well as tasks related to engineering development, research, design, and innovation with an emphasis on electric and hybrid vehicles, whilst gaining theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of automotive engineering. Yes, students must complete a 4-week field practice by working at a company or firm over the course of the internship period (in summer).

Earning a degree at the University of Debrecen in Hungary provides an EU-accredited qualification recognized across the globe. The admission process is conducted entirely online, featuring an entrance interview designed to evaluate subject-specific knowledge and personal motivation. Please note that the MSc in Vehicle Engineering operates on a double-intake academic calendar. This program starts both in September and February of each year. The application deadline in the self-financed procedure is 15th June for the September intake, and 15th November for the February intake.

The tuition fee is 8,000 USD / year for this program.
This is supplemented by the application fee of $150 USD (one-time) and the entrance procedure fee of $350 USD that covers the examination and interview. Please note that the application and entrance procedure fees are non-refundable and must be paid via bank transfer to initiate the review process.
