In the Crop Production Engineering master course, students learn the basic concepts of natural science, engineering, technology, food chain safety and management that underpin plant production, and become familiar with modern technologies used in crop production and their practical application. The training will focus on plant biotechnology, integrated crop production, integrated pest management, quality assurance in crop production and the sectoral economics of crop production.

Yes, students must complete a 4-week professional practice.

What are the language requirements for Crop Production Engineering, MSc?

Until when can I apply for the program?

Please note that the MSc in Crop Production Engineering operates on a double-intake academic calendar. This program starts both in September and February of each year. The application deadline in the self-financed procedure is 15th June for the September intake, and 15th November for the February intake.

How much does it cost to study Crop Production Engineering, MSc at the University of Debrecen?

The tuition fee is 8,000 USD / year for this program.

This is supplemented by the application fee of $150 USD (one-time) and the entrance procedure fee of $350 USD that covers the examination and interview. Please note that the application and entrance procedure fees are non-refundable and must be paid via bank transfer to initiate the review process.
