The Engineering Management, MSc program at the University of Debrecen (UD) combines technical engineering knowledge with practical business skills. The aim of the program is to provide professionals who have obtained a technical management or engineering degree, with scientific, engineering, informatics, economics and organizational knowledge; with a good command of a foreign language; and with skills to be able to manage complex engineering-economics tasks, plan and implement technical and economic processes, and to further evaluate the results to implement their developing economic and organizational knowledge in the course of PhD training.
Students select a specialization prior to enrolling on the program. Minimum number of applicants per specialization: 10. Certain subject groups are common for all Engineering Management MSc students (science knowledge, economics and humanities, field-specific subjects). The subject group "Differentiated Field-specific Subjects" contains specialized topics and fields.

Please note that the MSc in Engineering Management operates on a double-intake academic calendar. This program starts both in September and February of each year. The application deadline in the self-financed procedure is 15th June for the September intake, and 15th November for the February intake.

The tuition fee is 8,000 USD / year for this program.
This is supplemented by the application fee of $150 USD (one-time) and the entrance procedure fee of $350 USD that covers the examination and interview. Please note that the application and entrance procedure fees are non-refundable and must be paid via bank transfer to initiate the review process.
